The Next Evolution | AWE Nite Chicago is hosting a Technology Demonstration Day on June 5th at 1871, Chicago’s technology Incubator. This event serves as a local preview to Augmented World Expo taking place June 18-20 in Long Beach California. With the increased excitement toward spatial computing and immersive technologies due to the Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest 3, we will be showcasing some of the other amazing, innovative technologies that are available. Our focus will be AR & VR hardware but will also be partnering with software applications to showcase the latest and greatest.
We are going to fill a room of the best representations of immersive technologies for the Chicago community to get their hands and eyes on. We would love for you to join us.

What’s the Format
Times in Central Daylight Time (CDT)
5:30-8:30pm at 1871 for the In-Person Program
6:00-8:00pm in FrameVR for the Virtual Program
5:30-8:30pm – Networking & Technology Demonstrations
Unlike our normal panel events, The purpose of Demo Day is for our audience to try the technology they may not otherwise have the opportunity to try in person. Demonstration providers will also have the opportunity to make a brief presentation / demonstration and field questions from our virtual audience.

For our Physical Venue, 1871 can be found in Suite 1212 on the 12th floor of theMART, which is located on the North side of the river between Wells and Orleans. For easy access, enter through the Orleans entrance on the west side of theMART and take those elevators to the 12th floor.

The Frame virtual environment resembles a physical space, so you will be able to talk with other attendees prior to the start of the presentations. We suggest that you arrive no later than 6:00pm and we will get started promptly at 6:15. Please try to get familiar with the technology prior to the meetup, as we will be unable to provide support during the event. Share your camera or simply be a unique avatar or a robot!
