After a decades long career in the AAA video games industry, Ray founded Enklu Immersive to help transition the world to natural computing. Enklu is a spatial market place which connects players and operators of holographic theatres. Ray is an entrepreneur, startup advisor, patent author, featured artist, and public speaker at universities such USC, Stanford, and MIT.

In 2016, inspired by his first experience with the HoloLens, Ray founded Enklu with a vision to use augmented reality (AR) to foster genuine human connection rather than isolation. Rejecting complex setups and unintuitive design, Enklu prioritized accessibility and seamless interaction, combining gaming, spatial design, and engaging content. Its breakout experience, The Unreal Garden, debuted in San Francisco in 2018, attracting thousands—including executives from Apple and Google—despite initial growing pains. After surviving the COVID-19 pandemic, Enklu evolved further with Verse Immersive, pioneering holographic theaters nationwide. Today, Enklu engages thousands of monthly active Spatial users across multiple markets and countries, proving AR’s potential to bring people closer together in meaningful, screen-free interactions.
