Laura Brown, Ed.M. is an adult education professional and learning experience designer with over 15 years of experience serving low-income and educationally at-risk populations as a policy researcher, educator and designer. In recent years, Laura has focused her attention on crisis management and emergency response, developing objective-based Training programs for emergency responders. Laura holds 2 BA's from the University of California at Santa Cruz in Business Management Economics and American Studies. She holds a masters degree in Higher Education from Harvard's Graduate School of Education.

Mindset Learning Design is an independent consultancy that centers on Training and Education programs for adult learners in high-risk roles. Learning design is an interdisciplinary practice of assessing  team performance needs, identifying constraints, and optimizing program design to meet those needs. When appropriate, XR technologies have been leveraged to facilitate high-quality experience, the achievement of a learning objective, or audience scalability.
